Our main Dining Room, graced with sophisticated Rosenthal china and crisp white linens, offers your choice of traditional pre-set seating and dining times or a flexible open schedule.

Casual Dining

Open for dinner only by reservation, guests pay a modest surcharge of $30 per person for dinner and $15 for lunch.

One of the most important practices in reducing and preventing illness from infections while traveling is washing your hands regularly. Travelers should wash their hands often with soap and water. In absence of running water, the use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers is recommended to help prevent disease transmission. This is especially important before and after meals, when participating in activities where you are in contact with surfaces that many others could have touched (i.e., railings, buttons, countertops, etc.), handling money and after using the restroom.
A gratuity of $11 is automatically added to each passenger's shipboard account.
Holland America Line has named Jason Grant as director, fleet information technology. Grant will report to Brent Davidson, vice president, information technology. Grant will oversee all aspects of shipboard applications and technology. He also will be responsible for implementing a crew management system, system enhancements for the mariner loyalty program and outfitting the technology infrastructure for ms Nieuw Amsterdam, Holland America Line's new ship that sailed on July 4, 2010.
