Visit the land of the Sound of Music - starting in musical Vienna and ending in Munich. See the church where Captain Von Trapp and Maria were married in the film and in Salzburg see Mozart's birthplace. In Berchtesgaden you'll stop to see Hitler's favorite summer resort. Once every 10 years, Oberammergau, a tiny, picturesque village in the heart of the Bavarian Alps, reenacts an event which draws people of every religious denomination from the four corners of the world to witness the most poignant and moving story ever told. The sheer spectacle of the performance is beyond any West End or Broadway production, and is not to be missed.
