Day 1 & 2 Depart USA We fly over the international date line on our way to Melbourne, Australia.
Day 3 - Arrive Melbourne (3 nights) On arrival at Melbourne Airport you will be transferred to your hotel. After check-in, time at leisure before a welcome drink with your Tour Director and fellow traveling companions tonight.

Day 4 - Melbourne Sightseeing Morning sightseeing shows us the Royal Botanic Gardens, St. Paul's Cathedral, Parliament House, the Shrine of Remembrance and much more. Later enjoy time at leisure. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 5 - Melbourne at Leisure After breakfast, enjoy a full day at leisure to perhaps see the magnificent rock formations of the Twelve Apostles along the Great Ocean Road or ride the Puffing Billy steam train and visit a winery. This evening, why not witness the nightly ritual of the little penguins returning from a day of fishing on nearby Phillip Island? (Buffet breakfast)
Day 6 - Melbourne – Alice Springs Today you will be transferred to Melbourne Airport for an early morning flight to Alice Springs (flights to arrive prior to 1.00pm). On our arrival we enjoy a tour of this unique outback town. We'll visit the historic Alice Springs Telegraph Station, Royal Flying Doctor Service, School of the Air and the panoramic views from Anzac Hill, before returning to the hotel for the night. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 7 - Alice Springs – Ayers Rock (2 nights) An early start as we depart for Ayers Rock. We stop at a camel farm where you can try your hand riding 'a ship of the desert'. This afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the facilities at Ayers Rock Resort. This evening savor a complimentary glass of wine while watching the sunset at Uluru (Ayers Rock) from the viewing area known as the 'sunset strip'. The subtle color changes are quite amazing. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 8 - Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) Rise early to view Uluru (Ayers Rock) at sunrise. Watch the first rays of sunlight creep across the desert plains. Tour the caves at the base of Uluru and hear stories of the Aboriginal Dreamtime. Later, visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. This afternoon, we travel through the desert plains to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). The size and grandeur of these 36 massive domes of conglomerate rock will amaze you. Walk through Walpa Gorge and gaze down the central valley of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). After a spectacular sunset with complimentary sparkling wine at Kata Tjuta, we enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner with time for stargazing too! (Buffet breakfast / Highlight dinner)
Day 9 - Ayers Rock – Cairns (3 nights) This morning enjoy some free time at Ayers Rock Resort for shopping
and relaxation. Then you will be transferred to Ayers Rock Airport for your lunchtime flight to Cairns. This afternoon spend time at the Cairns Wildlife Dome where you’ll encounter unique Australian animals. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 10 - Great Barrier Reef This morning we join the high speed catamaran and cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy an informative reef education presentation, see a myriad of coral and tropical fish from the underwater observatory and the semi-submersible craft. There is the opportunity to go snorkeling and view this natural living wonder up close (equipment provided). We'll enjoy an included buffet lunch, before we return to Cairns for the night. (Buffet breakfast / Buffet lunch)
Day 11 - Cairns at Leisure After breakfast enjoy a full day at leisure. There’s time to take an optional excursion to Kuranda on the Kuranda train, with time to explore the markets, ride on the Skyrail Cableway above the canopy of the rainforest and visit the award-winning Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 12 - Cairns – Sydney (3 nights) Today you'll be transferred to Cairns Airport for your flight to Sydney. On our arrival at Sydney you will be transferred to your hotel where you spend the first of our three night stay. The rest of the day is at leisure perhaps to explore this beautiful harbor city. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 13 - Sydney Sightseeing & Harbor Cruise This morning enjoy a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House and later see the Royal Botanic Gardens, Mrs. Macquarie's Chair and Kings Cross. After, we are off to Watson's Bay and The Gap, before we stop for a stroll along famous Bondi Beach. Return to the city and enjoy a delicious luncheon cruise on Sydney Harbour. The afternoon you have the chance to learn about Australia's national gemstone – the opal. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight lunch)
Day 14 - Sydney at Leisure Enjoy a full day at leisure in this great city. There is plenty to do and the choice is yours. Maybe shop for some last-minute souvenirs or take an excursion to the Blue Mountains and see some of Australia's native wildlife at Featherdale Wildlife Park or to the Hunter Valley, New South Wales’ premier wine growing region, just 2? hours north of Sydney. Day 15 - Sydney – USA This morning bid farewell to Australia as you are transferred to Sydney Airport for your return flight home. (Buffet breakfast)
